Southside Community Organization (SCO) is Southside’s parent group, and our purpose is to work together with faculty and staff to further enhance the educational goals of our Southside students. The SCO conducts a variety of activities to support Southside throughout the year.

We invite new members from the Southside community to join our ranks. Please see our student handbook for more ways you can get involved in our school and district.

Giving—it really does take a village! We need your help to accomplish our goal of providing a great education to our students. With so many ways to lend a hand, we’re sure you’ll find an area that you enjoy. No need to wait—come on and jump right in.

One of the questions parents and community members most frequently ask is how they can get involved. Why not consider volunteering for our school? Besides being personally rewarding, it solidifies our connections as a community and enhances student success. Please contact your child’s teacher to learn ways you can help.

SCO meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month! Meetings are held in the Southside Library and we are always excited to welcome in new faces to help our Southside community.
